Scenografi. Lightdesign. Installation. Event. Consept.
I am focusing on close collaborations between the different professions in the the
field of theatre, dance, fine art and music.
I like to question traditional methods in theatre, the way to think about space and to play with building up and strucuring new systems and experimenting with methodes specially connected to a process. I have developed an interest for defining spaces. Like a frame around a picture. Not hiding what is around, but dividing or opening it up for the spectator. To give conditions for what is possible to see, and give limits to the access of perception for the spectator. I am searching for the media or material within every project to tell a story, or give the right notion of theme or feeling in my work. I like to experiment with how different ways to get to a result can influence the work itself, and I often experience that the way I think during the process, or how I choose to attack the process, is to a great extent crucial for where I end up. I consider people as a part of an installation or performance. I also find it interesting to work with contradictions between themes and what the spectator experiences visually. I think it is important to not give away the idea or to illustrate a point, but to constantly raise questions for the spectator, and challenge people to think and consider what they have experienced.
My main work has been about the empty space, to start with. Which means to me experimenting and researching relationships between space and object, and between space, object and spectator. I am interested in working
with space, object and body in time scale, and i work close with
materials, surfaces and how to approach the use of them.
Please don´t hesitate to contact me if you have a project or a consept you want to discuss.
